Hi, my name is Adrián, from Spain.
I installed the program (v220.127.116.11) to give it a look and i started to search for some games, i got 55 games in the database but suddenly the program stoped working giving some error with loading database. A day later, the game fix the problem by itself but now, there is no database. Photo with the 55 images of the games: https://i.imgur.com/8At79co.png
Other problem is the checking for updates, it is saying ‘Error checking for updates’ every short time and it’s very annoying.
Another minor problem is that the program didn’t load the steam library for non-install games, only the installed, is this a problem or something? I checked it and the option of Steam library (installed and non installed are checked) and now the message is that some game couldn’t be scraped because an error ocurred while scraping games with your server.
The log file (i’ve noticed that it starts after it start working again): https://pastebin.com/kUJGXSYS
I tried to uninstall and re-install it but it’s the same.
So first let me address the minor issue: this is because of Steam’s recent policy on private data. They decided that games owned and playtimes should not be publicly available now by default. Hence GameRoom can no longer sync your Steam games…
About the issue, I don’t understand what is happening now. So you can open GameRoom again now, and your games no longer appear? You said you tried to uninstall and re-install, did your games disappear in between?
Ok, i understand the minor issue, i’ll have to add manually for example. Maybe could be add some way to write all games instead one by one (maybe with excell one game in each line or something, i have 200 games and i’ll waste a lot of time adding them one by one).
When i uninstalled and re-installed was when the program didn’t opened, and a day later of the re-install, it suddenly starts to open again without me doing anything. I’ve add now all games, so i want to know how to do backups of the database to avoid lose it again.
I’ll be in touch if this failed again.
