Really loved GameRoom, but with the problem described, I cannot use it properly. I am a supporter even though, hope it gets useable for me in the future.

With more than 400 games to be shown, the interface gets incredibly slow, making GameRoom unusable. I’ve noticed that when I group by Launcher, and collapse Steam (that has the most of my games) it gets usable again.

I am using RAM disk on my computer and the \Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\GameRoom directory is in it, so I think the problem is not caused by IO.

    Hope it gets fixed soon…

Perhaps there is some way to implement pagination, as a way to limit the quantity of games shown at once… I am trying now to import my full Steam library, to see what happens. Is there any limit in the number of games managed by GameRoom?

    Hi!
This is linked to the same issue, the lack of memory management for Images in Javafx. When I have more time, I will investigate it further. The link you provided could be a workaround to this issue, I’ll keep you updated!

Thanks for the attention! Hope it turns not so hard to solve. Good luck!

This is happening to me too. It renders the program useless. But I’ll keep checking back for updates, it has a lot of promise.
